Lords of Chaos is a 2018 horror-thriller film adapted from the 1998 book of the same name, the film is a historical fiction account of the early 1990’s Black Metal scene told from the perspective of MAYHEM co-founder Euronymous.

The film premiered on 23 January 2018. It was released in the United States on 8 February 2019. It received positive reviews from critics, but was met with polarizing reception from audiences within the metal community.
